Description

The Boma: gather around the fire

There’s a reason South Africans have always gathered around a fire. The Veldmade Boma brings that tradition to your garden, patio, farm or campsite. It’s a handcrafted fire basket made from thick 5mm steel and built to last for years of fires.

Built heavy, built to last

• Made from solid 5mm steel, not thin sheet metal that warps after a few fires
• Open vertical strap design lets air flow through for a strong, even burn
• Decorative curled tops give it a classic wrought-iron look, even when it’s not lit
• Welded side rings make it easier to move and position
• Curved feet keep the fire basket up off the ground
• Fitted base grid holds the coals and lets ash fall through

Choose your setup

• Boma + Pan: The complete set. The raised-rim pan catches ash and falling embers, which helps protect your lawn, paving or deck.

Boma only: Ideal if you already have a base or pan, or want to place it on a surface you’ve prepared.
  610 high
  600 wide 25/5mm flat bar

• Pan only: A replacement or an extra, made to match.

Good to know

• Handmade in South Africa, so small variations in finish and weld detail are part of the craftsmanship

• Never leave a fire unattended, and make sure it’s fully out before you leave it
• Dimensions: [height × diameter of Boma and pan diameter to be confirmed on order]
