1. Introduction

Welcome to Veld Made (“we”, “our”, “us”). These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website located at veldmade.co.za and your purchase of products through our online store.

By accessing or using this website, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use this website.

2. Nature of Business

Veld Made operates as an online-only reseller of products. We do not operate a physical retail store. All purchases are conducted via our website and delivered to customers.

3. Customer Accounts

To place an order, you may be required to create an account.

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information

  • Keep your login details secure

  • Accept responsibility for all activity under your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that provide false or misleading information.

4. Products and Availability

All products displayed on the website are subject to availability.

We reserve the right to:

  • Limit quantities

  • Discontinue products without notice

  • Correct errors in product descriptions or pricing

Product images are for illustrative purposes only and may differ slightly from the actual product.

5. Pricing

All prices are displayed in South African Rand (ZAR) and include VAT where applicable unless stated otherwise.

We reserve the right to change pricing at any time without prior notice. However, the price charged will be the price displayed at the time of your order confirmation.

6. Orders

When you place an order:

  • You are making an offer to purchase a product

  • The order is only confirmed once payment has been successfully processed

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order for reasons including:

  • Product unavailability

  • Payment issues

  • Suspected fraud

If an order is cancelled after payment, a full refund will be issued.

7. Payment

All payments are processed via secure third-party payment providers.

We do not store your payment details.

Accepted payment methods may include:

  • Credit/Debit Cards

  • Instant EFT

  • Other payment options as displayed at checkout

By making payment, you agree to the terms of the respective payment provider.

8. Delivery

We deliver within South Africa using third-party courier services.

Delivery times are estimates and may vary depending on:

  • Location

  • Product availability

  • Courier delays

We are not liable for delays caused by third-party couriers.

Risk in the product passes to you upon delivery.

9. Returns and Refunds

We comply with the Consumer Protection Act (CPA) of South Africa.

You may return products:

  • Within 7 days of delivery if defective or incorrect

  • Within 14 days for eligible returns (unused and in original packaging)

Refunds will be processed once the returned product has been inspected.

Certain items may not be eligible for return due to hygiene or customisation reasons.

 

 

Veldmade Affiliate Program — Terms & Conditions

By joining the Veldmade Affiliate Program, you (“Affiliate”) agree to the following terms. Veldmade (“we”, “us”, “our”) reserves the right to amend these terms at any time, with changes taking effect from the date of publication on this page.

1. Commission Structure

  • Affiliates earn 10% commission on the net sale value (excluding shipping, VAT, and any discounts applied) of qualifying orders placed through their unique affiliate link.
  • Commission is calculated on the final amount actually paid by the customer, after any coupon or discount is applied.

2. When Commission Is Paid

  • Commission is not earned at the time of purchase. It becomes payable only once the order has been successfully delivered to the customer and the applicable return/exchange window (as stated in our Returns Policy) has passed without a return, cancellation, or chargeback.
  • Orders that are cancelled, refunded, returned, or disputed at any point will not generate commission. If commission has already been credited for such an order, it will be reversed or deducted from future payouts.
  • Payouts are processed on delivery, subject to a minimum payout threshold of R500.

3. Prohibited Activity

To keep the program fair, the following are strictly prohibited and will result in forfeiture of commission and possible removal from the program:

  • Self-referral: Using your own affiliate link to purchase products for yourself, a household member, a business you own or are employed by, or any account you control.
  • Circumvention: Sharing your discount/affiliate link with someone with the intent of them purchasing on your behalf, or splitting the benefit with the buyer.
  • Fraudulent traffic: Using bots, incentivized clicks, misleading advertising, or any method that misrepresents Veldmade products or the affiliate relationship.
  • Trademark/brand bidding misuse: Bidding on “Veldmade” or close variants in paid search advertising without prior written permission.
  • Spam: Promoting your link via unsolicited email, spam comments, or any method violating South Africa’s POPIA or CPA regulations.

Veldmade reserves the right to withhold, reclaim, or reverse any commission earned through activity that violates these terms, and to terminate an affiliate’s participation in the program immediately and without notice.

4. Eligibility

  • You must be 18 years or older to participate.
  • You are responsible for declaring and paying any tax owed on affiliate earnings in your jurisdiction. Veldmade does not withhold tax on your behalf.

5. Program Changes & Termination

  • Veldmade may modify commission rates, program rules, or discontinue the program at any time. Commissions already qualified for payout under Section 2 at the time of any change will still be honoured.
  • Either party may terminate participation in the program at any time. Commission already qualified for payout at the time of termination will still be paid; commission on orders not yet through the return window at termination will be assessed under these terms as normal.

 

6. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.

10. Warranty

Where applicable, products may carry manufacturer warranties.

Veld Made does not provide additional warranties beyond those provided by the supplier or required by law.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages

  • Our liability is limited to the value of the product purchased

12. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including:

  • Text

  • Images

  • Logos

is the property of Veld Made or its licensors and may not be used without permission.

13. Privacy

Your personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws, including POPIA.

14. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.

15. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update or change these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will take effect upon publication on the website.
